Maseru, Lesotho – October 1, 2025

As the festive season approaches, Maseru is buzzing with excitement for the return of one of Lesotho’s premier cultural spectacles. The second annual Sesotho Fashioneng Music Festival, set for December 27, 2025, at the iconic Maseru Club Grounds, has just announced its exclusive VIP packages, offering revelers a premium way to immerse themselves in a night of Sesotho pride, pulsating rhythms, and sartorial flair. With the full artist lineup slated to drop on October 24, anticipation is already reaching fever pitch.

Organized by award-winning musician and cultural ambassador Ntate Stunna in partnership with Penya Play, Sesotho Fashioneng promises to eclipse last year’s groundbreaking debut. The 2024 edition, held on December 28 at the same venue, shattered expectations by selling a staggering 19,000 tickets – a feat that cemented it as Lesotho’s biggest show of the year. Featuring a star-studded lineup including Ntate Stunna himself, rising sensation Sannere, legendary vocalist Mme Puseletso Seema, Thope tse Khang, Mavele, Tash, and more, the event blended high-energy performances with runway showcases of contemporary Sesotho fashion. Attendees raved about the electric atmosphere, with social media flooded by clips of emotional highs – from tearful sing-alongs to viral fashion statements under the banner #HaReYengMaseru. “Sesotho Fashioneng was a blast,” one fan posted on X, capturing the sentiment of thousands who experienced a profound celebration of Basotho heritage.

The festival’s impact extended far beyond the stage. Inspired by its massive turnout, organizers launched the #Hloekisa Lesotho campaign in March 2025, a youth-led initiative for urban clean-ups and tree-planting drives in Maseru and beyond. Backed by Ntate Stunna, the effort kicked off with a major event at Pitso Ground, complete with dustbin handovers to the Maseru City Council and entertainment to rally participants. “We recognised the importance of contributing to the beautification and cleanliness of Maseru town, following in our government’s footsteps of making Lesotho cleaner and greener,” said Selloane Nyakane, media liaison for the campaign at the time. The drive not only addressed climate challenges but also fostered a sense of collective responsibility, with Nyakane emphasizing Ntate Stunna’s role in mobilizing youth: “He shall bring influence to youth and awareness to our communities and foster a sense of unity in environmental responsibilities for a sustainable Lesotho.” Plans are underway to integrate similar eco-elements into the 2025 festivities, ensuring the event continues to give back to the Kingdom.

This year’s VIP offerings cater to groups of all sizes, combining reserved table seating with generous bar tabs for an elevated experience. Here’s a breakdown:
